Blogging from the waiting room
I'm sitting in the waiting room of the medicentre right now, waiting to have a doctor check how much I've damaged my knee yesterday. I'm confident that it'll take a couple of hours to get in for a doctor so I thought it would be good to drop a long overdue blog post. Please excuse the spelling errors since I'm doing this on my phone.
Some random thoughts:
1) Its amazing how quickly your circumstances can change. Its something I'm learning quite a lot about this year with my car accident and now my reinjury. I'm not sure what the lesson is here or if there is one to learn, but it sucks when things turn for the worse suddenly.
2) I wonder how many people are waiting in medicentre waiting rooms across Edmonton right at this moment. The place hasn't been open fpr 2 hours yet and the waiting room is almost full already with 20 people.
3) My phone keeps autocorrecting my numbers. Whose bright idea was that to program into the phone? I dont really see someone using the exact same number sequence in their messages every time.
4) I wonder if I could check into the medicentre, eat a meal, then come back. They need a pager system for this place. If the keg can have one, pretty sure the medicentre can have one.
5) I was watching some game of thrones a few days ago. That series has really grown on me. I think its my new 24 series. It has a way of building things up and then just when you think things are going to wrap up nicely, they turn it around and the terrorists win (or Joffrey in this case). One thing that all my favorite dramatic series share is the fact that no one is ever safe in the series. Its also fun when they drop a bomb om the audience and cut to some quiet credits right away lol.
6) I dropped by the Hot 107 studio to pick up a Moxies gift card that I won from them. I couldn't see the studio from the front desk which was probably a good thing because Ryder pisses me off. Is there anyone in the city who thinks he should get his own morning show? He's such a douchebag he's not remotely funny at all.
