Blog in 6 Minutes:

Okay lets try and put together a cohesive thought here.

- anyone else hate the fact that when someone 'likes' your status, it shows up as a notification? I honestly think out of all of the already mundane and mindless activities you can do on facebook, clicking like on something is the laziest thing a person can do. First off, what's the point of that? Just cause that dude from work likes it when I status update about the weather, that doesn't mean it's going to elicit a response from me. So why notify my that he likes my status? I've never seen anyone respond to a like tag ever. Damn lazy facebookers. At least have the decency to type a few words and make a comment! That or Facebook should limit the amount of likes that each user gets a week. I know that there are some people who abuse that option way too much *cough* Tony *cough*. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the support for you liking that I got new clothes, or that my drive to work wasn't that long. But the red bubble notification that I get from my facebook homepage just because you decided to get click happy and like everything about my facebook postings, that's just a tease man. Here I am thinking that someone has a meaningful comment or some kind of information for me, and all it tells me is that 'John likes this'. Thanks Facebook, maybe you can compile a list of things that John likes and save me the trouble of checking my notifications EVERY time someone clicks like. RAGE!
