10 minute post

It's been a while since I've done this and I've had a lot of random thoughts in my head. So here we go. I'm gonna type out whatever comes in my head for 10 minutes, and then stop right when the time ends:

- went to Ikea today. At first I was expecting the meals to have gotten more expensive like every other place has. But no, meatballs and mash potatoes were 2.99 instead of 5.99. That's a hell of a deal!

- on the same note of ikea, I saw a man who was outraged because he tried to follow the shortcuts throughout the warehouse section and got turned around. Honestly? How does that happen? There are only 2 ways to go: 1) where the arrows are pointing, or 2) where you just came from? It's not like you can take the third route and end up in Red Deer. Wtf..? He was so angry about it and claimed how another associate had mislead him. Made me laugh.

- on the same note again, how can you even be angry for not being able to take a shortcut through ikea? You get to see cool stuff. That's like saying 'Aw piece of crap! I was supposed to take a shortcut through the mountains and into the dull tunnels, instead I had to drive along them and enjoy the beautiful mountain peaks. What the hell?!'

- on the same note again, I bet you he was just there for the cheap food and wasn't wanting to shop there at all. Haha cheap bastard, serves him right.

- I went to the Nike store today. For anyone who has known me, I have a strange obsession with Nike. I'll buy most Nike things just because I love the design and simplicity of the brand. Anyway my brother Vic got me a giftcard for 70 bucks and I haven't been able to make myself buy anything with it within my last 3 visits. This greatly concerns me. Is the world really ending?

- Thought about how my time in Edmonton was running short last weekend during the church service. It was a really sad thing to think about.

- Caught up to today's episode of How I Met your mother. I'm still convinced Jason Segel can't act. He's the big dude who plays Marshall and also plays the loner from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Hmm weird, the name Marshall is in both of those titles.

- So my mom just came up to me and asked me if I had enough utensils for the new place. I would have said no, but she had a bunch of old old kitchen utensils that I've NEVER seen before in her hands. I think she was trying to offer them to me if I needed them. Great thought and all, but still, I'm not gonna take some utensils my mom has offered me, especially when I think they're quite possibly older than me. Let's also forget the fact she just somehow grabbed them from the downstairs washroom :S Don't ask me...

- She just grabbed some glass tupperware out of nowhere! Where is this all coming from?!?!

- My mom has great intentions, but she can come off as really lecture filled and kind of annoying. I think the timing of my moving out is just perfect.

- I need a new xbox, the question is where do I get it..

- Frick nights go by so quickly after work. I feel like I should have so much time to do things, but next thing I know it's bed time. Guess that's growing up

- Oh back to ikea, there's a picture in there called journey through the jungle or something. I want to get it for my new place, look it up if you get a chance. Beautiful!

- I talk about Ikea a lot, something tells me I was meant to be born in the southside.
