Quick thoughts

So I'm bored at this training session right now. Thought I'd take the time to post some quick thoughts:

- Blogging on a public computer isn't a good idea: With people all around me, there's this natural tendency for me to wonder what they're thinking as I'm typing. I even had someone from work comment on the title of my blog 'An honest Blog from an honest Man' with a condescending tone. Oh, I'm suddenly lame am I? This coming from the girl who played Facebook games like 'my cafe' all day on her computer. Yeah you're cool.

- Facebook friends: I get this impression that everyone thinks they're entitled to be added onto my list of friends on Facebook merely because they know how to spell my name and use the search bar. I'm not being all high and mighty with my list specifically here, but talking about friends lists in general, I don't think people should be entitled to be angry at me if I decide not to add them as a friend. If I don't talk to you normally, why would I want to add you? The last thing I want to read about is your status updates (I could care less about how much you hate the cold winter), and 5000 invites to play Adventure Island or some crap. I find it especially funny because the girl next to me tried to add me as a friend on Facebook: still pending... MWAHAHAHA.

- Mexico is coming up and I am not yet immune to Hep A or B. It's always concerning to go into a country and not be protected against that stuff, but I've been reassured by many people about it not being a big deal. We'll see I guess...

- Playing WoW gives me tunnel vision. No matter what else is going on, all I'm thinking about is when my next level is and what I'm going to get from it.. It's ironic that I may have to utilize the parental control program of the game on myself.

- I'm supposed to get someone from work a secret santa that's less than $5. Normally if I knew them very well, it wouldn't be too hard. But it turns out I picked out someone who I've never worked with nor have I ever talked to beyond being initially introduced. This isn't going to end well..

- I went to Ruth's Chris for the first time last week. I was surprised to see that it's not as astoundingly expensive as everyone else makes it to be. The menu price for what I got (8 oz new york strip steak, 2 sides, starter salad) was 38 bucks. Not bad at all. Although I think I still maintain that Chop has better steak. There was talk about Ruth's Chris' method of injecting their steaks with a syringe filled with butter in order to get it's juiciness. Don't get me wrong, it was quite juicy and good, but Chop had some kind of spice on theirs that just seemed to be more of a complex taste than pure butter.

- I have too much money that I want to spend on everything. I need a budget asap. Maybe after I play some WoW...
