Movies I've seen recently that you must see!

Munich: It's an older movie by now, but it's definitely worth looking into. It's really cool going into the movie and not knowing what it's about or what to expect, but it definitely has some really good characters and some very strong character development. I really enjoyed this one! Also I found the Wikipedia document on the real event fascinating. (Rotten tomatoes rating: 76%)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: I realize this is a big change in direction, but I did see this movie recently. I also realize that I'm most likely the last person to have seen this movie, but I still have to comment on how much I enjoyed it. I really wasn't sure what to expect from this one, with everything else they're dragging from our childhood becoming big flops. Need examples? Try Spiderman 3, X-Men 3, Street Fighter The Movie, Mario Brothers the Movie! Okay I realize those last two were extremely old, but they still sucked nonetheless. Anyhow I'm getting off topic. TMNT was great, and it makes me have less faith in Rotten Tomatoes as the movie had a rating of 32% with them. The turtles looked awesome, action was exciting, voice acting was better than expected, and it had a nice break from the usual Shredder routine. I don't want to ruin it for anyone, so I'll say that the fight with Leo and another person on the rooftop was thoroughly enjoyable. My main complaint was that there was hardly any involvement of Donatello. He's not my most favorite Ninja Turtle, but he does deserve some recognition...

The Last Kiss: Most of you have probably never even heard of this movie. Well it's a movie with Zach Braff, and Rachel Bilson in it. If some of you are still shaking your heads in confusion, they are the stars of Scrubs and the O.C. respectively. Anyway it's a cool movie to check out as it looks at a more mature stage of the dating/love aspect of life. It deals with real life issues, and the acting was enjoyable. It's just one of those movies that's unique in it's subject matter and becomes memorable. So watch it. (Rotten Tomatoes rating: 46%)

Alpha Dog: Ok, this one you don't HAVE to see as much. Not like it was a bad movie or anything, I still enjoyed it. I'd say it's one of those rentals that you should make if there's no other movies you can think of that you want to watch. I'm starting to have more faith in Emile Hirsch's acting abilities, since now I've seen him in a movie other than 'The Girl Next Door'. Actually the real reason why I checked this out was because I heard good things from Vic about it, and I wanted to use it as a precursor for Emile's acting abilities before I watch 'Into the Wild'. It's cool cause he's my age too. (Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 56%)

Over The Hedge: Don't really need to see this one. I just added it on the list cause I saw it. Somehow it got 74% on Rotten Tomatoes. I guess I'm not the target audience..

Good Luck Chuck: Another movie you don't need to see. If you're just watching it for Jessica Alba, don't even bother. It wasn't horrible, it just wasn't really funny either. (Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 2% YOWZA, not even worth linking!).

The Ex: Again another movie you probably never heard of. Well it was another failed Zach Braff experiment. Had it's moments, unlike Good Luck Chuck, but again another movie that could be avoided. (Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 19%)

The next couple of movies on my list: Die Hard Series, Indiana Jones Series, Lethal Weapon Series, Oceans 13.
