One Weekend at the Lake

Just gotta say, the long weekend was pretty awesome at the lake. We had some really good laughs about things while chilling out to some music and checking out some hot chicks. Well I guess it was really one hot chick, but that's not the point.

Now after watching Larry and Ryan jam on their guitars all weekend, it makes me want to pick up an instrument. Not really looking at picking up another guitar, so I'm somewhat considering picking up a beginner's drumset. We'll have to see how the space, money, noise issues work out, but I think it'd be an awesome hobby to pick up. Oh and also with Ryan's brother's (Devin) dog barking and whining all weekend when he wasn't around, it makes me rethink the whole getting a dog thing.

All in all, it was a nice weekend that let me have my time away from the city and my city priorities and made me refocus on what I want to make of this summer. So I'm pumped and ready to keep the workout train rolling, while getting a tan, and maybe picking up drumming. The important thing is that this means less Facebook checks and video games for me, a nice refreshing change of pace. I did my first home workout for a while today, so we'll have to see how that continues in the next few months. I gotta pick up an exercise ball..
