It was the Best of Times, it was the Blurst of Times. What the?! Who wrote this?!?

Hehe I love that classic line from the Simpsons. Makes me laugh everytime. But it actually has some relation to what I wanted to blog about.

We all have our crappy days, and our totally awesome days. However, I find that for the majority of times, I tend to really get hung up on the crappy days, and not enjoy the good days. I think this rings true with most people too. It's almost as if we count all of the days that aren't completely crappy or sad as just regular days of our lives. But when the storms come, that's when our life comes to a screeching halt and it seems like the world is storming on you.

It's definitely important to recognize those crappy days and weather the storm, but I think it's equally important to realize when you've had an extremely great day. The world just seems like a much darker place if we only recognize the bad times of our lives and not the good.

I just felt it in my heart to blog about this because I personally had an awesome day today. I had the opportunity to talk to a bunch of people from church that were really fun to connect with, have a good performance in my drama for church, and spend a delicious meal with my family for father's day. I'm definitely putting this one in my good books. It's important to have days like this and recognize it, so that you have something to look back on those crappy days. Because regardless of how good life is at one time, I can promise you that there will be stormy times ahead in our lives. So that means we really have to cherish those good times that we can have with good friends and family.
