This is sick...

Right now there's a big sale going on at Futureshop. I'm not sure if anyone else has heard, but they're currently holding a big sale for 13 days of amazing single day deals which started last Friday. Being the Futureshop junkie I am, I've been all over this since day 1.

Currently they're on the 2nd day of the deals. The first day was a 2 gig mp3 player going for 69.99, half of it's regular price. Pretty good deal, but I already have a 30 gig Ipod Video. Fast forward to the next day, and it's a 500 GB external harddrive, something I can definitely use with all the TV series I download and music I keep on my computer for Ipod transfer.

So I start setting up my online account information in preparation to buy this thing. I'm trying to get it done as quickly as possible of course, because quantities are limited for the online sale. Finally I get up to the credit card section. That's when I realize that both of my credit cards are cancelled... Just early on this week, I had lost my wallet for more than half the day, so I cancelled my credit cards for security purposes. I never would have thought that the week I actually cancel my cards is the week that I would need them the most. Whoever's playing this sick joke on me, you got me good this time..

All in all, it sucks to not be able to take advantage of this really good deal. But also at the same time, a part of me isn't completely hard broken over it because I wouldn't have even used the 500 GB in the future, so I'm mainly buying the product for the deal aspect. That's never a good basis to buy things on. Anyway, tough break, but what can you do.
