For the cause of NOT studying some more...

I'm just gonna drop a small line while I delay my last minute studying some more for my last exam of the semester. A few interesting things.

Yesterday I had the chance to work on the set of the Christmas in Wonderland movie shoot. I will provide a 24-ish type blog for that once my exam is over today, so stay tuned. Who knows, another president might get assassinated :O

I do have a confession though. Last week, I think it was Wednesday or Thursday, I caught myself watching some more Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.... I know I know, it's retarded of me. If you aren't already aware of my beef with the show, you can refer back to my previous blog (4th one down). On a side note, I received 2 really positive responses to that blog from 2 people that I didn't think even read my blog. I found that really encouraging.

Anyway, I found it interesting and funny at the same time that in the show, the contestants get SO excited about some things. Granted that there is tons and tons of money to be won. I just found it funny that a fully-grown man can get to the point where they pee their pants with excitement after they solve a grade 3 language arts question. I compare it to a contestant who shortly after solving $100 question on millionaire, jumps up and down on his seat while humping the air. Yeah that's all I want to say about this show. I'll leave off with a sample question from the show I watched:

The Earth's Atmosphere is mainly comprised of which element?

I'll post the answer on my next blog (ooooh cliffhanger!). Until then you can post any guesses or answers on my comments. And you cheapos better not look this up on the internet...

P.S. Does anyone else think that the gameshow 'Identity' is just a clever way to encourage racial/sexual profiling? "Which one is a chinese food delivery boy? The big and ripped black dude, or the pale looking, short chinese guy whose shining his bicycle?"

Nitrogen is like 78% or something of the air. Oxygen is 21% or so? And the 1% is everything else.

The element is fire. It will ALWAYS BE fire. Even if its not fire, it is still fire.

Sounds like something Dr. Cox would say.

Anyways I thought the humping the air might possibly be the funniest thing I've read/seen/heard in the last couple days.

Nitrogen. Sadly, I know this (and the percentages Chris mentioned) from having to calculate the molecular weight of air millions of times... damn you, chemical engineering.
