A quick blog before I head out to another night wild night at the strip club with tons of booze and ladies. I don't think I'm fooling anyone, so I'll just admit that it'll be another Halo 2 night at Ryan's. Am I mocking the idea of getting together to do gaming? Not at all. Personally I think the whole strip club scene where you get so drunk that you can barely get up for work the next day is over-rated. It's all about the insecure guys wasting money on countless drinks while they try to make another relatable 'crazy night of drinking' that they can brag about to their friends. Sounds good right? Well here's some personal reasons why I don't partake in that kind of stuff:
1) You smell like shit when you're drunk, and even worse the morning after.
2) The point of working each day is that you MAKE more money than you spend each night, which I find hard to believe will happen after one of these nights.
3) I don't want to get a pubic lice flicked into my face, no matter how sweet or hot a pussy is.
4) I also like to be able to wake up in the morning and keep the job that I enjoy.
The reason why I'm suddenly harping on this is because just from working at Futureshop day after day, these have been all the stories of nightlife I've heard over and over again from some of the new people I've met here. Although it may be unexpected to come from a computer specialist or someone that's tech savvy and geeky, I've heard the stories. What's not surprising is that these guys are either one of two scenarios. First being the 18-20 male who hasn't gone to post secondary and realized that starting to save money would be a good thing right about now. Or the second scenario being the 22-25 male who never got the chance to goto college or university and realize that they'll be working at Futureshop for the rest of their lives. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a grudge or qualm with any of these guys specifically, considering the fact that everyone has their own choice of what they need to do to unwind off of work time. But what does irritate me is how people who don't enjoy those 'finer points' in life like late night drinking and strip clubs, like myself, appear to be the ones who have no life and aren't going anywhere in life anytime soon. It's pretty ironic in the fact that in reality it's the flipside of what everyone thinks, considering the amount of debt that some of these guys rack up. Such is the poser life.

It's funny, because you have a picture of a stripper (supposedly) at the top of the page.
