Motivation
Yes, it's been mentioned in Chris' blog already, but nonetheless it's an issue that has to be dealt with. I can see a sense of low motivation in everyone lately, including myself, and even though it may seem usual for this time of year, I think some relief is due.
First off, I think there are multiple reasons why it tends to happen time and time again during the 11th or 12th month of the year. With it being the end of another year, where ppl just naturally tend to reflect upon the growth or lack there of, that they experienced through the year. So naturally, one comes to frustration and hopelessness when reflecting back. Also the other reason could also be the fact that there's less daylight. Just with the night coming on us so quickly, and a hectic schedule of either work or school during the daytime, ppl just don't get the time to look out at the sky and admire the weather.
My take on the whole thing is that ppl don't give themselves enough credit. Though changes may not seem as apparent as you'd like them, each and every person experiences a significant number of changes throughout the year that they don't regard in the end. A practical instance of this would be myself, maturity wise and spiritually. In a nutshell, I think the thing to keep in mind when in that situation would be reiterating what Chris was saying with leaning on your friends' support, and also cutting yourself more of a break than you're used to.
I'd say more about it, but my thoughts kinda evaporated within the last 5 minutes of writing. So I'm pretty much done about that.
As for everything else, Eminem's new CD came out just last week. For anyone whose wondering how good the CD actually is, I've downloaded the entire album with the gift card I got from Ryan for Puretracks. And I'll have to say, from what I've heard, it's some really good stuff. I'm the kind of person that really enjoys a song if it has a great beat, and Eminem's tracks never cease please when it comes to catchy beats. So I really really recommend the CD, and with Tony just picking it up from Futureshop for 11.99, I think that's a steal considering you get 20 tracks not including 3 short skits, and a bonus cd. So yes, it's good stuff. (I swear I don't work for Eminem's record label :S).
Anyway, it's gonna be another one of those blogs where I get bored half way through and lose focus. So I'll end it here now before I ramble on about things I didn't intend on writing about.
