Yeah, that's how it felt like today. It was pretty much accounting studying throughout the weekend and first half of the week for me. Not so fun. But thankfully it was all over, and just as the note above indicated, I just barely dodged the midterm raping of a lifetime by actually balancing my debits and credits in my test. The great thing was hearing everyone else's reaction to "Time's up, pencils down please." I think the reactions went something of this nature:

"Ahhhh DAMMIT! I'm screwed!"
"I can't balance! SHIT!"
"Oh frick...."

Ah yes, gotta love the family atmosphere. Anyhow after a brief talk with some new friends I've made in accounting, seems like the three of us were on the same page about most things, and were pretty confident about the test. Thankfully I dodged that bullet just barely.

Me: "Not this time Dr. Claw!"
Accounting: "I'll get you next time Gadget!"
Me: "Wait, who the hell are we talking about? You're not Dr. Claw"
Accounting: "I really don't even know why you're talking to me to begin with homo..."
Me: "Shut up.............dick..."
Accounting: "You just did it again..."

Yes, it has gotten this strange. You may as well change my blog address to antno.blogspot.com. Haha anyway, that's besides the point.

So after finishing my long awaited midterm, I decided to celebrate by purchasing a set of speakers that I've had my eyes on for a long while. I've basically been doing lots of research through the internet and browsing websites, until I came to the one set that looked best for my computer setup. They're apparently a discontinued model, but still very high-end. For anyone who cares, it's the Logitech Z-2200 which includes two speakers and a huge 8" subwoofer that pack an altogether punch of 200 Watts. Also it incorporates THX sound and has a connected volume control remote. I also got a sweet deal, considering Futureshop was selling it for $230 before the $70 rebate. The price I got was $189.99 before rebate, and an additional 2 year warantee from Staples because it was their last set (being the demo set). Needless to say, very happy with the purchase.

Dammit, Tom's stupid loud volume from the Xbox game is interrupting my thought process....

Oh I also went to the church drama meeting. It was quite funny because instead of my initial thought of it being a big group of usual drama/church buffs and me being a total outsider, there were only 3 other ppl there including the Pastor's wife. So much for that. Oh well, I'm just glad to be back in the acting circle. Just the experience of having another script to improve my acting range made me jump at the chance.

The funny part of it all is that I got my first part in a drama skit, and you'd never guess what the role would be. Yeah that's right, a Chinese Delivery Boy. LOL I couldn't stop laughing when I thought about it because it was such a shoe-in. The instant I pulled out the FOB accent, it was done.

So yeah I've got about a page and a half worth of lines, not a big deal, but it's a start. And I figure it'll let me improve my acting range with lots of different characters.
