Here's a thought: People think they have way more drama than they actually do in their lives!

Yeah, this was what I thought after reading a friend's "Live Journal." I mean, though some ppl may have it harder than other ppl, I think those individuals just tend to whine about almost anything and everything they can. Why is life like this? Why does everyone pick on me? Why is the world the way it is?! Hey, I know why. It's because you're being a baby! I swear the whole world seems so much worse when you start over-analyzing and taking things for more than they are worth. The whole world becomes one of those Shakespearean plays where everyone dies, and there is no moral except that life sucks.

But I will say though, whining is necessary at times. You can't take everything with a grain of salt, or else you'd have a goiter or something (I have no idea...) I'll admit that whining can be very relieving. But it's that instant where you centre your whole life around that whining that everyone beings to see how pitiful/pathetic you really are. Sometimes in life, you trip and fall on the journey. That fall can range from a minor stumble with a bad choice of breakfast to a leap off a 200m cliff with a death in the family. And of course there's gonna be those times where it's tough to get back up and not complain. But once you start to sit there and focus your entire energy on sulking for yourself and for everyone's pity, that's when you'll find everyone else moving on down the path with their life. If everyone in history focused their lives on the horrible things that may have occurred 24/7, then I really don't think we would have been born let alone survived as a human race all these years.

Moral: You can keep feeling sorry for yourself, but I'll kick you in the face if you do. :D
