So lately I've been trying to get in touch with myself and readjust the priorities of my life. Just for some reason I've noticed that the priorities that I have made in my head are always so different from the priorities that I actually keep. But all in all I think this last week has been a really good break from the busy life to readjust and think about what I should be directing my life towards.

On the same note, I've been listening to tons more gospel music. I know the usual stereotypical view of gospel music for many ppl is the typical loud preacher in the background saying "Hallelujah!" and "Praise the Lord!" many times while the church choir drowns everyone else out with their singing. But it's totally different from such a thing. That's one of the reasons why I'd love to see more friends come out to our church for a Sunday morning, not to push them to God before they're ready, but to let them figure things out for themselves and dispel those old myths. I must say though, that the gospel music I've been downloading just puts you in a great mood. And I think that's the main aspect that people overlook when they listen to music. They forget that it rouses deep emotions subconsciously and people tend to get lost in their music without even knowing it. I think a good example is punk rock and R&B or rap. Either way, I'm hoping to get enough tracks for a gospel CD that I can burn and carry around with me. I believe it just works as positive reinforcement when you're bummed out at times. So if anyone has any good gospel songs, be sure to lemme know.

As well just yesterday, I had the opportunity to go watch Troy with a whole bunch of friends. Although the screen wasn't as big as a regular SilverCity screen, I still really enjoyed the movie and the whole historical experience. I'll have to say what really surprised me was how huge Eric Bana's role in the movie was and how small Orlando Bloom's was. Keep in mind that was a pleasant surprise as Orlando tends to be a little pussy compared to Eric. This also with the fact that Bana was surprisingly fricken awesome in the movie, I had a pretty good time with the show. Oh yeah and Helen of Greece is hot too......

We were also discussing something yesterday. It was basically the question: Who would name their son Milhouse?! Yeah not much else to say about that one, so here are some more dumb laws from our good old friends in France:

France Laws

Country Laws-Between the hours of 8AM and 8PM, 70% of music on the radio must be by French artists.
It is illegal to kiss on railways in France.
-No pig may be addressed as Napoleon by its owner.

City Laws

Antibes
-It is illegal to take photos of police officers or police vehicles, even if they are just in the background.

Le Lavandou
-It is forbidden without a cemetery plot to die on the territory of the commune.

Paris
-An ashtray is considered to be a deadly weapon.
