The last few days have been interesting, that's for sure. With Kev getting Xbox live, Ryan either having to work or goto sleep, Tony getting stressed out more and more at home, and Kason, well being lazy :P. But I've really found that lately the ongoing theme that has been going on is depending on your friends. Let it be teaching you new skills, letting you unwind from a busy and stressful week, or just being there to listen to your troubles, I've found that there are many hidden treasures to having friends.
Where did I derive such a simple and general statement from? Well this past week I've been basically been hanging out with Kev almost 24/7. Throughout the week, we've helped each other with lots of different things let it be hooking up Xbox Live, giving me rides to places, or teaching me how to play a bit of guitar. All I'm saying is that the world is much more interesting and diversified when you get to hang out with someone for a majority of the time. If I had been left to my own devices, I'd prolly sit my days away by watching anime on the comp, or playing pointless video games. Thankfully though, that wasn't the case at all, and now I'm pondering if I should learn how to play guitar or not.
As for what else has been going on, I see everyone's really beginning to take their own paths with summer plans and fix their own schedules not according to one another, but themselves. I think it's really refreshing to hear that because that's the only way you can get things done. I mean, I'm a fan of being able to hang out with the guys and all, but you can only wait around so long for your schedules to match.
Oh yeah, Hillary came over today just to bring over some cookies which I thought was a very nice gesture. Unless........there was an ulterior motive.......POISON?!?! Nah they tasted too good to be poison, and if they were poison, I'd eat them again if I had the chance anyway.
Also just on thursday I had an interview that I wrote about on my blog. From the sounds of it, and from the experience of going to the interview, I'd say it went off without a hitch. Tom seems to be acting as if I practically have the job already and that I can begin spending lots more immediately. If this is the case, that'd be so awesome because the wage beats the crap outta what blockbuster gives me. But even if I did get the job, the manager said that it wouldn't be until about mid-June that all the security checks and paperwork have gone through to let me work full-time. Here's hoping the training for the job isn't too tough, and that they don't find out about my homicide conviction.
I just couldn't take that creepy old guy that kept asking me if he could tag along with me and my friends to places. Damn that old man...
Anyway, my shift is about to start at blockbuster, so I suppose I should get ready since I'm biking there and all today. No dumb laws today because I don't have enough time.
