Doesn't seem like anyone's been updating their blogs besides me and Ryan. Oh well, at least there's one other person. I want to just quickly take this time to wish Michelle a safe and relaxing trip as she left for Hong Kong and Malaysia just on Sunday.

There's been great news lately though! The news of Anita's brother, Anthony and his gf Elena getting engaged is great and I wish both of them the best! As well, just recently my brother has been pushing to get me a job at his CIBC branch which would be just totally awesome! I mean, the full-time hours are there for the taking, I'm assuming there's gonna be a great wage for the position of bank teller, I would be working the same hours as Tom, so rides wouldn't be a problem, and it totally goes along with the degree that I'm working towards. Really, when I think about it, this would be a perfect job for me right now, that is if I'm able to clinch it. I have my first interview tmrw, so wish me luck!

I have to say though, it's times like this that inspire a feeling of patience within me. I think it just goes to show that if you wait long enough and you pray, your moment will come in whatever form it may be. Who would have ever thought that I'd even have a chance to change from a blockbuster employee to a major bank teller? So anyone who's having a hard time right now with life, and find themselves in a kind of ditch of their life right now, don't give up hope.

I also have to tell the story of a late night conversation I had just last night with Ant and Kev. Here they are over at my house after a fun day of football to unwind and play some XBOX. We play some intense games of NHL 2003, and some good old Halo to find ourselves playing games until 2 in the morning. So just before they are heading out the door to talk, we become immersed in a good conversation about what's been going on in our lives lately and our long term plans for the extended summer holidays. So after talking downstairs at the bottom of the staircase for over 10 minutes, I lead us back to the couchs to talk some more. We end up talking and talking and talking our asses off until we find that the sun is starting to rise. We look at the time and it's 4:30 in the morning! And also keep in mind I have to work that morning at 9.

So we just keep talking despite Ant's many attempts to get Kev to drive him home right away. An hour goes by, and then another half an hour, until finally at 6 AM my home phone starts ringing. I'm sitting there thinking "WTF?! Who would be calling at such a time? Everyone in my house is sleeping!" Sure enough, I look at the caller display, and it's from Tony's house. So I pick it up and act as if Kev and Ant had left long before and say how I think they prolly went to get a bite to eat. After that, the morning was pretty much done because if we had gone on for any longer, Ant would be in for some total BEATS!

A quick note before the end of the blog, it was Ranald's 19th birthday just 2 days ago (May 17th). So if you get a chance to see him, be sure to wish him a belate bday, and give him his bday beats anyway! Nice try Ranald, trying to fly under the radar...
