Well, another late night blog for me. While I've been finishing up my first assignment for the semester, I've made one conclusion.
I truly believe math has broken my brain.....
Yes I sit here trying to even formulate logical words to comprise this blog with. Hell it took me like 3 seconds to come up with the word 'semester' for what describes the 2nd half of our school year. The problem I find is that the question is so straight forward, yet for some reason or another (maybe because it's too late at night), I don't quite pick it up on it the easy straight forward way, but I pick the more difficult and brain intensifying method of solving the equation. That totally pisses me off..... For example, even though it's my VERY FIRST math assignment of the sem, along with the fact that it's my SECOND time taking the course, and of course don't leave out the fact that I've taken Math 31 before, there's one stupid graph question that's totally killing my head. I mean, it seems to always come down to me questioning "Is there a relationship b/w X-intercept and Y-intercept?" WTF?!?! Like honestly, my brain is so fried right now because of late night math. So let this be a lesson to all not to do math in the last minute...
Oh and also I'd like to share a really funny instance that I just encountered about 2 days ago.
For all of you who've been to my house lately, you would know that my brother had just bought a new TV tuner for his computer in his room. So along with this TV tuner came a brand new spanking vid card, as well as a remote control much similar to a TV's to make it easier to surf channels. Also on this same remote control, you have the option of moving the mouse cursor for easier access from far distances. Anywho, here's the story.
My brother is trying to finish up putting together a CD that he can take to his ski trip this weekend. So he's there navigating through Kazaa Lite searching his heart's content for various R&B songs that he can put on. As any Kazaa user will know, it is VERY easy to contract anything from a virus to a trojan horse to even a worm from an infected file that's shared by a hacker. So here he is looking through his kazaa search on the very same computer that's been infected countless times. I'm lying in his bed (waaay softer than mine) pretending to be half awake. So I snatch the TV tuner remote control from the filing cabinet beside his desk, quickly consealing it within the depths of the blankets. Then I decide to mess with my brother a little bit and begin to move his mouse around with the remote. Carefully watching the reaction on his face, I see a quick and sudden change from non-chalantness to impending dread. Of course, right when I'm about to stop messing with him, in an instant he drops down from his computer chair and disconnects the cable modem!!! Much to my surprise, he disconnects himself from the internet altogether, and thus losing ALL of the downloads that he already had in progress. Half trying to hold in my laughter and half feeling guilty, I show him that I was messing with him, in which he gets totally pissed at me. He explains later that it wasn't such a big deal that his mouse was moving to begin with, but the fact that I was controlling it to go towards the start button on the bottom left of the screen TOTALLY freaked him out! Thinking back, this totally makes sense now because there's so many things that you can do to mess with the comp in the menu bar. But yeah needless to say, I laughed my ass off so hard that I fell off the bed...
After that long and drawn out story, I wanna wish a happy 18th birthday to Chris! Let's hope we can get him drunk sometime! :D
