Hey, it's been a while since I've last written, so let's give this thing a spin!
So here's what's been going on lately. On thursday, I just had my appointment with Dr. Poon and I got my medicine for my hip. As many of you know, my hip has been giving me problems for a VERY VERY long time, and it finally feels good to have it back atleast somewhat. Hehe here's the kicker though. The container for the medicine has the prescription name on it reading: "PMS DiCholorate". I was like, WTF?! This can't be my medicine! My dad must have somehow got the wrong medicine from Save On!! But surely enough, it was the real medicine. What the PMS stands for, I dare not ask...
A few other things. Anita just started up her own blogspot here, so be sure to drop by and say hi! It's www.anitangui.blogspot.com. Very cool layout and such.
Lately as well they've been talking about giving blogspot the capability of displaying pictures and audio blogs. Though this may at first appear as a great advancement in the website construction, I think it just makes things worse. When you think about it, the reason why people make blogs to begin with is because they would like to vent, and also for the entertainment of others. It's just something unique and interesting that you can read about another person. Now when you add the capability of adding pictures, this kinda defeats the purpose. I think if they did add in that feature, people would be more obsessed with finding the "cool picture" for their site, and not about what they should write about. In other words, it would be Edmonton Online all over again. People come on your site, just to see pictures and all the fancy stuff, (not substance at all), then to sign the guestbook just because it's basically an obligation after you go there. And also we all know what happened to the popularity of EO.....:(
Oh I also saw Pirates of The Carribean. I must say, i think that's the movie that surprised us all! Everyone thought it was gonna be so horrible from the stupid teaser trailer of that pirate sword cutting the words apart. But it actually turned out quite well! After watching that movie, I finally realized how great of an actor Johnny Depp is! He was soo great in Pirates and in Once Upon a Time in Mexico that I want to see all of his other works now. As well for all of the Pirates fans out there, apparently from what a friend told me, Pirates is supposed to be a trilogy. So expect some more Carribean movies coming out with the same 3 cast members APPARENTLY. Sounds kinda fishy to me, especially considering the fact that they ended the Black pearl with a pretty nice wrap-up of events. Don't ask me, all I know is that the chick from that movie is SOOO HOT!!! My gosh, am I the only one that thinks that? And for anyone keeping score, Kev also pointed out during the movie that she is in fact the same girl from Bend it Like Beckam, which I totally did not agree with at the beginning. She also turned 18 just during the shooting of the movies, so she's a young one ;)
I think that's pretty much it for today. Oh except for the fact that during my weekend I had a knife fighting seminar. My gosh was that so awesome! I never did realize that there were so many ways to make someone stab themself with their own knife. Great weekend for stabbing ppl, and really inspires a choreographed fight scene. So folks, don't be surprised if our club suddenly comes out with a fight scene using weapons. That would be totally sweet :)
